Haha. Good guess! And I struggle with that constantly. My solution is to embrace the geekness and incorporate it into the design. Don’t just stuff everything into the shelves. Spotlight certain things by putting them in special spots, like on a coffee table, hanging on the wall, etc. And use colors from your geekmerch in other things like the furniture and curtains and what have you. Don’t hide your geekiness! But doing this makes it a little more inviting. Does that help?
